This policy explains what data the Water Glass app ("the app", "we") accesses, collects, uses and shares. Water Glass is developed by LCC Sistemas.

The short version: your hydration data lives on your device. You can use the entire app without creating an account. We do not sell your personal data, and we never ask for your GPS location.

1. Data stored on your device

By default, everything the app knows about you stays on your phone, in the app's private storage:

Water intake entries, daily goal, history and day streak;
Your settings: weight, activity level, units, language, theme, reminder times;
Progress in the app's collection features (achievements, cards, mascot wardrobe).

Uninstalling the app removes this data from your device.

2. Optional Google sign-in and cloud backup

Signing in is optional. The app is fully usable without it. If you choose to sign in with Google to back up your progress, we receive from your Google account and store in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore):

your Google account identifier (UID);
your email address;
your display name;
a copy of your hydration history and app progress, so you can restore it on another device.

This data is used only to back up and restore your own progress. You can sign out at any time in the app's settings, and you can request deletion of your account data (see section 8).

3. Weather — and why we never ask for your location

The app shows the weather of your region inside the scene. To do this it uses your device's time zone (for example, America/Sao_Paulo) to derive approximate regional coordinates, and sends those coordinates to the Open-Meteo weather service.

The app does not request, access or collect GPS or precise location data. It holds no location permission. The approximate coordinates derived from a time zone identify a broad region, not you or your address.

4. Advertising

The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner and, only when you choose to watch one, an optional rewarded video. AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier and related technical data to serve and measure ads. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before requesting any ad, and you can change your choice at any time in the app's settings ("Ad privacy").

5. Analytics and diagnostics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used (for example, which screens are opened) so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

6. Permissions the app requests

Permission	Why
Internet	Weather data, ads, and cloud backup when you sign in.
Notifications	Hydration reminders you configure. You can disable them.
Exact alarms	To deliver reminders at the times you set.
Photos / storage	Only to save the photo you choose to create with the mascot.

The app does not request location, camera, contacts, microphone or phone permissions.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data is processed only by the service providers that make the app work:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics) — account and backup — privacy information;
Google AdMob — advertising — privacy policy;
Open-Meteo — weather — terms and privacy.

8. Your rights and how to delete your data

Local data: uninstall the app, or clear its data in your device settings.
Cloud data: sign out in the app to stop syncing. To have your account data permanently deleted, email us at the address below with the subject "Delete my data" from the email address you signed in with. We will delete it within 30 days.
You may also request a copy of the data associated with your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or the LGPD (Brazil), including access, correction, deletion and objection.

9. Children

Water Glass is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data retention

Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data backed up to the cloud remains while your account exists, and is deleted upon your request as described in section 8.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on the store listing.
